This fund was set up 2 years ago to assist active duty and recently discharged veterans and their families with emergency funds. At that time the auxiliary, VFW and men's auxiliary raised $22,000.00 which we think may be a record for a special project. While many of you may be familiar with the UnMet Needs program through the VFW, our fund assists only New Hampshire Veterans and their families, and was created as a stop gap while funds from other sources were being applied for. In this day and age with rising fuel and living costs we feel that it is time to start replenishing our fund. All donations should be sent to Department Treasurer Dottie Annis earmarked OVER THERE.
